ART_itecture explores the intersection between art and architecture through a number of my real world and imagined projects from across the globe.
The exhibition showcases an eclectic mix of works, in a range of mediums, to [hopefully!] present design concepts in an engaging way. From working with bamboo in the dense jungles of Indonesia to reaching the habitable edge of our planet's atmosphere above 5000m in the Himalayas of Nepal, the work delves into my lived experiences and the diverse landscapes and environments that my designs are placed with.
Closer to home, the restoration and refurbishment of a listed fishing village cottage examines the unique coastal ecology along Scotland's northeast coast and some fresh perspectives of the village from the underwater microcosms along the village's sea wall.
This solo show follows on from my 2025 RSAxWasps Award and is spread across Galleries 1 & 2 at The Briggait in Glasgow until September 25th 2026.
